Tuesday night, Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of East 4th Street in reference to a 911 call hang up. Upon arrival, it was discovered a disturbance had occurred. A primary physical aggressor could not be determined. The male agreed to leave the residence for the night. A 12 hour log was completed.


 

On the morning of November 25th, Officers observed a vehicle pull to the side of the road, without signaling, and run up onto the curb. Officers turned around and made contact with the driver, who was still sitting in the driver's seat. The stop took place in the area of East 7th Street and South Montgomery Avenue. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated and had a suspended driving status. The driver refused to exit the vehicle, resulting in the use of force. The subject refused to provide a breath sample, and a search warrant was obtained for a blood draw. The blood draw was conducted, and the suspect was transported to the Pettis County Jail. Luis A. Polito Seba, 36, of Sedalia, was booked on charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Suspended, and Resisting Arrest.


 

Officers were dispatched to the State Fair Shopping Center, in the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue last Tuesday morning for a call regarding threats of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers set up a perimeter, and were able to make contact with the suspect. The suspect, who was not named in the report, was detained without incident. The subject was taken into custody with unnamed charges being submitted to the state prosecutor.


 

Monday night, Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of East Broadway Boulevard in reference to a burglary. When Officers arrived, they spoke with Angel Waltemeyer. Waltemeyer said while she was at work, someone broke into her residence and stole her XBox gaming console. The console was valued at $1000. It was later determined that no crime had been committed.

Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle Monday afternoon near the intersection of West 2nd Street and South Missouri Avenue after observing the vehicle speeding. A computer check of the driver's information revealed that her Missouri driving privileges were suspended. Amber A. Reed, 35, of Sedalia, was issued a municipal summons for Driving While Suspended.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of East 10th Street for a report of trespassing. A suspect was seen in the yard of a residence they had been trespassed from. They had been arrested for trespassing twice in the last week. His continued and unwanted presence disturbed members of the household. Seth Andrew Farr, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested for Stalking in the 1st Degree, Harassment to Frighten or Disturb Another Person, and Trespassing in the 1st Degree. Farr was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.


 

Officers responded to the 1800 block of South Ingram Avenue in reference to a theft Tuesday morning. Georgeann Foster stated some items were stolen from their residence. A couple of suspects were named, but no contact has been made at this time.
