Want To Show Off Your Great Voice? Lucas Oil Speedway Can Help

Do you have a great voice? Can you give people goosebumps with your rendition of the National Anthem? If you can do that Lucas Oil Speedway wants you to be part of their race nights this season.

Singing the National Anthem is just one-way race fans can get involved and become part of the festivities at Lucas Oil Speedway this race season.

“Our opening ceremonies are a special part of the program,” Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said in a track release. “Drivers presenting the American Flag as they slowly circle the speedway in their race cars as the Anthem is performed, it’s a tradition that everyone enjoys.

“I know we have a lot of talented singers out there and we would love to have them on hand to help us get the race-night started by performing the Anthem.”

If you are interested in singing the Anthem submit a demo recording of your performance to the track's administrative assistant Lisa Lorton via email at lisa@lucasoilspeedway.com.

There are other ways to get your group or business involved in racing at Lucas Oil Speedway as well.

Car and motorcycle clubs are also welcome to come to the track and show off their vehicles during a night at the races too. The speedway will promote your club's appearance the week of the event, and they'll get your group set up on the Midway, behind the grandstands so all the race fans can see your group's sweet rides.

Finally, if you have a non-food and non-drink business that might benefit from being at the track, Lucas Oil Speedway has vendor space available. They have a variety of booth spaces with and without electrical access. And prices start $150. You can contact the track for more information at 417-282-5984.

Racing will be here before you know it! The track has two open test and tunes scheduled. Saturday, April 9, and Saturday, April 16. The race season will kick off after the April 16 test and tune with the running of the "Easter Bowl 150" Enduro race.
